  • You can choose to operate a Diaspora Savings, Diaspora Current or Diaspora Domiciliary account.

  • Diaspora Domiciliary Account can be funded in Pounds, Euro, Dollars and Yen.

  • Opening balance for the Diaspora Domiciliary Account is $100 equivalent in all currency denomination.

Account Opening Requirements / Documentation:

  • Duly completed account opening form including signature mandate.

  • The customer information for account opening may be sent online (electronically).

  • Bank Verification Number (BVN).

  • One passport photograph.

  • Full KYC Documentation of the customer.

  • Valid proof of residence or work permit for foreigners.

  • Personal Identification (Any of these: Current National Passport, Driver’s Licence, Voter’s Card, National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) Card.)

  • Risk Assessment form duly filled by Account Officer.

  • 2 References for the Diaspora Current and Domiciliary variants.
